General Objective

To train participants to recognize, evaluate, and respond quickly, safely, and standardly to common medical emergencies and traumas in the workplace, providing high-quality initial care until specialized help arrives, minimizing harm and protecting the physical integrity of employees.

Essential for the entire company or industry team, with a focus on:

  • Team Leaders and Supervisors: Responsible for the safety and well-being of their teams.
  • CIPA Members (Internal Accident Prevention Commission): Safety multipliers.
  • Fire Brigades: Complements emergency training.
  • Security Team: Doormen, guards, and patrols.
  • Production and Operational Staff: Those with higher exposure to risks.

Workload

  • 4 hours of intensive and practical training.

Program Content: Adapted for Industries and Companies

During the 4 hours of training, we address the main emergency and urgent situations that may occur in the daily work environment, clarifying doubts and offering practical solutions. The program is divided into two parts, with a 15-minute break.

Basic General Training (2 hours)

  • Scene Assessment and Safety: Prioritizing the safety of the rescuer and the victim.
  • Activation and Communication: How to effectively call for help (SAMU, Fire Department, etc.).
  • Recognition of Cardiopulmonary Arrest (CPA): In adults and children.
  • High-Quality Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Maneuvers: Theory and practice.
  • Use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED): Application and care.
  • Airway Obstruction (Choking): Maneuvers for adults, children, and infants.
  • Bleeding Control: Injuries and bleeding.
  • Accident Prevention: Discussion of common workplace risks and preventive measures.

Training Itinerary: Medical Emergencies in the Workplace

  • Glycemic Emergencies: Recognition and management of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), common in physically active individuals.
  • Fainting and Loss of Consciousness: Appropriate assessment and conduct.
  • Seizures: How to act safely during a seizure.
  • Minor Bleeding: (Nosebleeds, small cuts).
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-Degree Burns.
  • Stroke (Cerebrovascular Accident – CVA).
  • Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI – Heart Attack).
